InSiGHT (International Society for Gastrointestinal Hereditary Tumours) Conference
Aukland, New Zealand
March 20, 2019 to March 23, 2019
Abstract Deadline: October 29, 2018

Nau mai, haere mai - Welcome

On behalf of the International Society of Inherited Gastrointestinal Tumours (InSiGHT) and the New Zealand Society of Gastroenterology (NZSG), we are delighted to invite you to the 2019 InSiGHT meeting being held for the first time in New Zealand, sometimes known as Middle Earth. The meeting will be in the beautiful "City of Sails", Auckland.

On Wednesday 20 March (from 4:00pm) we will begin with informal drinks and registration. The official opening and welcome to Aotearoa (New Zealand) will be on Thursday morning prior to beginning the two and a half day scientific programme. We have an exciting line up of international speakers to help address some of the topical issues in the etiology, diagnosis, clinical and endoscopic management of familial gastrointestinal cancer. The meeting will finish at Saturday lunchtime.

The welcome reception is on Thursday at the waterfront Maritime Museum and the meeting dinner, preceded by a Mihi Whakatau (welcome) on Friday evening at the Auckland Museum set in the scenic Auckland Domain.

The meeting venue is the SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre, located in the heart of Auckland, where you will find yourselves a short walk from the harbour waterfront in the midst of the fantastic culture, dining and events happening throughout the city.

We hope you'll join us in the city that Rudyard Kipling described as

Last, loneliest, loveliest, exquisite, apart-
On us, on us the unswerving season smiles,
Who wonder 'mid our fern why men depart
    To seek the Happy Isles!

Rudyard Kipling, Song of the Cities

We encourage you to find out more about our international speakers and register now.

Kind regards,

Susan Parry
