26th European Orthopaedic Research Society Annual Meeting (EORS)
Galway, Ireland
September 25, 2018 to September 28, 2018
Abstract Deadline:

"The European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) meetings provide a forum to discuss achievements, challenges and opportunities in orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and trauma education, research, development and clinical translation. The programme of the EORS 2018 will include 5 workshops, 2 plenary presentation sessions, 60 podium presentation sessions, 5 rapid-fire podium presentation sessions and 5 poster presentation sessions in tools, technologies and discoveries that aspire to revolutionise healthcare with their reparative capacity. Over 120 renowned engineers, scientists, clinicians and entrepreneurs will deliver inspiring invited talks, whilst exhibitors, sponsors and corporate partners will showcase the state of the art in the field. We will work towards receiving accreditation from the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and we will comply with the ethical values of Ethical MedTech Europe.

The EORS 2018 meeting will be held at Galway, Ireland. The world-class education, research and innovation experience that the National University of Ireland Galway offers have played a catalytic role in establishing Galway as a biomedical hub word-wide. Arty and bohemian, Galway is renowned for its welcoming and friendly inhabitants, literary tradition, spectacular countryside scenery, arched-bridges over the salmon-stuffed Corrib river, vibrantly painted houses, medieval town walls, tangled lanes packed with street performers, pubs that heave with live music, warm handmade Aran sweaters, traditional handcrafted Claddagh rings, world-famous Galway Bay oysters and numerous festivals throughout the year. It is not a coincidence that recently Galway was bestowed with the honour of European Capital of Culture 2020.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at Galway for an excellent EORS 2018 meeting.

Dimitrios I. Zeugolis, PhD"
